    I had a slight inkling that Nintendo’s Wii Sports Resort would be selling like hotcakes and the recent figure of more than 500000 sold proves that to be true. That’s a lot of Wii MotionPlus accessories and discs. It also could be good for fans of Zelda. A while back at E3 Shigeru Miyamoto hinted that a new Legend of Zelda may support the peripheral if enough people bought it. Right now it sounds as if that’s going to be very likely.

College President Jamillah Moore told trustees Wednesday that the movewould save $700000 and prevent academic programs from being cut. Women's volleyball was spared because its season is about to start butsix other programs including men's and women's basketball are off. Several former basketball players said the program was a long andstoried one that offered a path out of poverty for many inner-cityyouths. "I just came back from Croatia where I spoke to 15 players who told meLos Angeles City changed my life" said Joseph Taylor 23.

First from the Indy folks:Foyt Racing’s Ryan Hunter-Reay on the track: “Mid-hio is a really special place to me because I grew up racing Skip Barber there when I was 16 17 18 years old. I had my first pro-race series race there–the Barber Dodge Pro Series race. I love that place – it’s like the heart of road racing in America.
