– Andy Landers will remain the Georgia women’s basketball coach for three more years. Landers has been the Georgia coach since 1979 and is now signed through the 2013-14 season. With Landers Georgia is one of only four schools in the country to have a winning record in all 28 seasons since women’s basketball became an NCAA sport in 1981-82. Athletic director Damon Evans praised Landers for his “outstanding” dedication to the program.
