The Mount live school board is set to consider a participation fee Monday that would offset a budget shortfall. The board is looking to raise $91000. Preliminarily plans call for charging a student $125 to play an unlimited number of sports and $25 to join nonacademic nonservice clubs. But critics say a student who plays multiple sports and is in multiple clubs would pay $150 the same as a student who plays one sport and is in one club.
