Marianne Stark said her son lived for sports especially baseball and football and planned to go on to college to become a sports journalist. His heart condition made it unsafe for him to play football said Marianne who added that the heavy contact associated with rugby made her nervous. However she said she did not think Corey’s death was related to rugby activities as Tuesday’s practice did not involve contact.
