In the Madden NFL 09 simulation Pittsburgh defeats the upstart Arizona Cardinals 28-24 with Roethlisberger leading the way with three touchdown passes. But the AFC champions hold off a spirited fourth-quarter comeback by the Cardinals to register their second title in four years. Pittsburgh dominates the opening half talking a 21-7 halftime lead. Roethlisberger throws TD strikes of 10 and 13 yards to Santonio Holmes and Hines Ward respectively while Willie Parker runs 10 yards for the other score.
