Last week Toyotaannounced that it will roll out the new Lexus IS F sports sedan in Japan thisDecember. The car will also likely be a part of the Tokyo Motor Show later thismonth. Lexus is looking sell around 450-500 units ayear. The model which is afront-engine rear-wheel-drive vehicle will be kitted out in a brand new 5litre V8 engine complete with an 8-speed sport direct shift automatictransmission.

The decisionwould mean that both the sport broadcasters would not be allowed to participatein the bidding of the broadcast rights for the Indian Premier League (IPL)? BCCI?s version of the Twenty20 game. This would mean that the fightfor the rights would be restricted to only three players ? NimbusESPN-Star and Sony. The reasonfor blacklisting the two channels is quite clear. A senior BCCI official saidthat Zee Sports defaulted in not renewing its bank guarantee for the neutralvenues contract that was awarded to them by the BCCI earlier this year.
