    – When Jeff Long was born Frank Broyleshad already been at Arkansas almost two years. Needless to say Long has a tough act to follow as theRazorbacks’ new athletic director. “I will never try to replace Frank Broyles” Long said afterbeing introduced at a news conference Tuesday. “I’m honored to beoffered this position of leadership that he has held and I amhumbled to have the opportunity to do so. ” Long Pittsburgh’s AD since 2003 emerged recently as a topcandidate to replace Broyles who retires at the end of the yearafter a half-century with the Razorbacks.

    NASCAR Nextel Cup Sylvania 300 – New Hampshire International Speedway – Loudon NH The preliminaries are out of the way the pretenders are sitting on the sideline and now its time to determine a Nextel Cup champion. There are 12 drivers remaining in the “Chase for the Nextel Cup” and all 12 could realistically be champion. Jimmie Johnson who finished the regular season in fourth place will begin the 10-race “Chase” with the most points by virtue of his series-leading six victories. The defending series champion started the season strong slumped a bit in the summer but has returned to form with two consecutive wins at California and Richmond.

The figure is around 3. 5 million pounds below its original expectations the company said. Total revenue in the first half of the year fell 4.
