EA names Peter Moore president of EA Sports label

said late Tuesday it has named Peter Moore as president of the EA SPORTS label effective in September. Moore comes from Microsoft Corp. where he served as corporate vice president of the Interactive Entertainment Business in the entertainment and devices division leading both the Xbox and Games for Windows businesses. Moore will report to Chief Executive John Riccitiello the Redwood City Calif. -based company said.

comSo many thoughts; so little time. Such is the case jumping from city to city with the ESPN boxing circus. Unlike that circus up in Canada we didn’t have one of our elephants run loose through a residential development last week. But we did let Mike Tyson loose at our “Wednesday Night Fights” ESPYs post party. After being pummeled with SportsCenter’s “Who’s Now” tournament I recently had a revelation.
