12:18 AM PDT on Wednesday May 30 2007By BRDERICK TURNERThe Press-Enterprise Late Tuesday evening after he had done another round of interviews about the state of the Lakers past present and future Kobe Bryant said he was "exhausted tired and ready for sleep" from a firestorm he created in an attempt to get the Lakers to make improvements. Bryant was on two radio shows talking about how he wants Jerry West back and how he wants the team to become an elite team. Bryant said he only recently learned about the Lakers having a "long-term" rebuilding plan saying he had been informed by Lakers owner Jerry Buss and general manager Mitch Kupchak when he re-signed in 2004 that they would put together a quality team immediately.
