    The Detroit Pistons turned in a vintage defensive effort Monday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference finals. The Pistons struggled offensively shooting 43% from the field and committing 12 turnovers in a 79-76 victory. However they held the Cavaliers to 37% from the field and limited LeBron James to 10 points his career playoff low. James also had 10 rebounds and nine assists. “We felt as though we didn’t play well at all (offensively) and still got a win and that’s great” said Pistons guard Richard Hamilton who scored a game-high 24 points.
