There’s no sense comparing tragedies because each is completely separate and different except for the common theme that far more lives are affected than just those that are taken. Beyond that it all becomes hyperbole and over-simplification and in some cases simple stupidity — as in Rush Limbaugh somehow trying to make the claim that SeungHui Cho must have been a liberal.
