Following a two-day World Anti-Doping Agency conference in London hosted by Britain’s drug testing agency UK Sport Wada’s director general David Howman said testing athletes was no longer sufficient to tackle the threat. He called for countries such as Britain to follow the examples set by Australia and America whose sports bodies were now sharing information with police and other investigative agencies targeting drug suppliers.
