– Attorneys representing three Duke Universitylacrosse players charged with rape have again asked prosecutors forthe details of any statements made by the accuser as well as anyadditional notes and reports from investigators working the case. In a letter sent to District Attorney Mike Nifong on Wednesdayand included in the court file attorneys Joseph Cheshire and BradBannon — who represent charged player David Evans — said theinformation was not included in 615 pages of evidence Nifong turnedover to defense attorneys last month. “We have made these requests time and time again” they wrote. “We understand and appreciate that this is not the only case inDurham and that you have an office to run.

us Digg This Time Warner Cable is planning to start a local cable channel that would carry live coverage of Milwaukee-area high school sports. The details on the programming and the timing for the launch for the channel have yet to be finalized said Bev Greenberg vice president of public affairs for Time Warner in Milwaukee. "It’s centered around high school sports but beyond that it’s a work in progress" Greenberg said. Time Warner executives believe Milwaukee-area television viewers have a strong interest in sports including programming on the high school level she said. In addition to live coverage the channel would re-run those events throughout the week and carry undetermined additional programing Greenberg said.
