    The third-seeded Henin-Hardenne dropped the first set but held on in a third- set tiebreak to knock off Myskina 4-6 6-1 7-6 (7-5) on the grass courts at Devonshire Park International Tennis Centre. “I’m very happy with my week here. The courts were excellent a little windy at the start but a great preparation for Wimbledon” said Henin-Hardenne. The victory gave Henin-Hardenne her 27th career singles title and fourth this season.

    The reigning champ knocked off the former two-time titlist 6-4 6-3 on Saturday improving to a perfect 10-0 on the grass courts at The City of Nottingham Tennis Centre. “If I would have been able to break him in the first set maybe it would have been a different match but today I felt that he was a step ahead all the time ” said Bjorkman. With the victory the 20-year-old Gasquet beat both members of a potent doubles team in back-to-back finals. Gasquet knocked off Bjorkman’s current doubles partner Max Mirnyi in last year’s final while the Swede took home the title in 1998 and 2002.
